Yes. Botox has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use since 2002 and is backed by decades of clinical research. When administered by a trained injector, it has an excellent safety profile and is one of the most performed aesthetic treatments in the world.
Not with the right injector. The goal at LJC is natural-looking results that soften lines while preserving your facial movement and expression. Less is always more, and we can build from there.
Minimal discomfort. The needles used are very fine, and most patients describe the sensation as a quick pinch. Treatments typically take 10 to 15 minutes with no downtime.
You’ll start to notice results within 3 to 5 days, with full effect visible at 2 weeks. Results typically last 3 to 4 months, and with consistent treatment many patients find their results extend over time.
There’s no “right” age to start Botox. Patients in their 20s often use it preventatively to slow the formation of lines, while patients in their 40s, 50s and beyond use it to soften lines that have already developed. As long as you’re 18 or older, the best time to start is when you feel ready.
